Big Bass Bonanza 1000 Review: A 1,000x Fish, Priced in the Rules and Collected Once in 61 Rounds
Big Bass Bonanza 1000 is Pragmatic Play's ten-line fishing slot, and its free spins send a wild out to collect money fish whose sums are printed on their tags. Every fourth wild adds ten spins, and each added ten collects at a higher multiplier, x2, then x3, then x10. The build prints its 96.51% return four times, its 20,000x cap and both buy prices, and it prices a fish at up to 1,000 bets without saying how often one lands. This portal logged 2,870 paid spins at 2.00, met the feature 27 times and closed at 79.18% of its stakes. With the two sister logs the book reaches 6,266 paid spins, 61 rounds and 111.84%. A 1,000x fish stood on the board in nine of the pool's 880 free spins and was collected in one, a sister round that paid 1,141.8 bets, against a best of 217.2 here.
- Who it suits: players who want a free spins collector they can read fish by fish, a bar that counts the wilds to the next rung, and every price printed in the rules, and who accept a base game that pays one spin in eight
- Core mechanic: ten lines on a five-by-three board where every fish carries a printed sum; a wild in the free spins collects every sum on the board, and every fourth wild adds ten spins that collect at x2, x3 and x10
- Key risk: the base game paid on 11.95% of paid spins and the stake at the median in our log; the title's 1,000x fish reached nine boards in 880 pooled free spins and was collected once, and the rules print no odds for it
- Rating: 6.6/10

A fish priced at a thousand bets, and what the rules say about it
The thousand in the title is a symbol value, the top of a list that every fish on the reels draws from. The rules print the possible sums in full, 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x or 1,000x the total bet. A wild in the free spins collects whatever the fish on the board are showing at that moment. The rules also print the 20,000x cap that ends a round, the 96.51% return in four modes and the price of both buy buttons. How often the eighth value appears is the one thing they leave out, and the logs can at least count it. A fish tagged 2,000.00 stood on this portal's board on 17 spins, eleven in the base game, where nothing collects, and six among its 360 free spins. No wild shared a board with any of them. The two sister logs lift the count to 26 base-game spins and nine free spins of 880, and a wild was on the board for one of the nine. It came on the seventh free spin of a sister round that went on to retrigger twice and closed at 1,141.8 bets.
On paper, the feature is where the game keeps its money, a wild that collects and a ladder that multiplies. Every fourth wild adds ten spins, and each added ten collects at a higher multiplier, x2, then x3, then x10. In the sample, the rounds that never lit a badge paid from 13.2 to 42.4 bets in our log, and the nine that lit one paid from 52.4 to 217.2. The base game in between paid on 343 of the 2,870 paid spins, 11.95%, and gave back 29.74% of the stakes on its own. Everything else came from the 27 rounds, 62.44% of what the session returned, and the ledger below is mostly theirs. This review reads the title's claim against that ledger, and the claim comes in three parts. It is a value the rules price and never time, a ladder whose first rung decides most of a round, and a base game that displays the fish's sums on every spin and pays none of them.
What this page cannot show
A single log of 2,870 paid spins says nothing about a long-run figure, and the pool of 6,266 widens the sample without settling one. Twenty-seven rounds leave the feature's clock loose, between a round every 73 paid spins and one every 161 at the 95% level. The pool's 61 rounds tighten that to one per 80 and one per 134. The rules give no weights for the eight fish values and no odds for a retrigger. Nothing here can say how rare the 1,000x fish is beyond two counts from 880 pooled free spins, nine boards that showed it and one wild that collected it. The third badge needs three retriggers inside one round, and none of the 61 pooled rounds managed more than two, a zero that counts and prices nothing. The ante bet and the two buy buttons stayed off in all three logs, so this book holds no price for a bought round. The figures below are demo credits taken from the game's settlement of each spin, with a frame stored every second, and a collection can resolve between two frames.
Ten free spins, a wild that collects, and a bar with three badges
Three, four or five scatters open ten, fifteen or twenty free spins, and all 27 of our triggers came on three. The wild appears only inside the feature and substitutes for every symbol but the scatter. When it lands it collects the printed value of every fish on the board. A wooden bar above the reels keeps count of the wilds, and every fourth one fills a badge. The badge adds ten spins to the round, played once the current batch has finished. Those ten collect at a higher multiplier, x2 for the first badge, x3 for the second and x10 for the third. Our fourth round shows the rule at work, with its fourth wild on the fifth free spin and another wild three spins later still collecting at x1. After the third badge the bar is full and the round can grow no further. Three random helpers feed the collector between spins, and the rules put no rate on any of them. Fish can be added to a board that already holds a wild. A bazooka can fire fish onto a board that holds a wild and no fish, and a hook can drag a wild or a fish into view after the reels have stopped. The bazooka fired four times and the hook once in our 360 free spins, and the first helper showed only in the sister logs.
The feature arrived 27 times in 2,870 paid spins, a round per 106 (n = 27), and the waits between rounds ran from four spins to 448. Eighteen rounds ended with the first badge still dark, nine lit it once, and none lit it twice. Those nine rounds are the whole story of the table below, since they ran twenty spins instead of ten, collected at x2 through their second half, and paid between 52.4 and 217.2 bets. The eighteen without a badge paid between 13.2 and 42.4 bets, a span that overlaps nothing above it. The median round of the log paid 62.00, 31 bets, while the mean reached 52.6 because the nine long rounds pulled it up. The biggest single free spin in the log paid 234.00, 117 bets, inside the best round, from a wild at x2 on a board the bazooka had just filled.

The trigger spin is counted in paid spins from the first stake of the log. A full round is the credit the wallet received when the round closed, with any line win of the triggering spin inside it. No triggering spin paid on its lines in this log, so the free spins alone account for every figure. The multiplier column gives the badge the bar had reached when the round ended.
The ladder in this game is short and its first rung is steep. A round that fills the first badge gets ten more spins and collects at double through all of them. In our log that made 52.4 bets the lowest of the retriggered rounds and 42.4 the highest of the rest. The second badge lit in five of the 61 pooled rounds, all five in the sister logs. The three that reached it in the bigbassbonanzaplay.org session paid 203.4, 1,141.8 and 211.4 bets, and the two in the other sister log paid 262.1 and 261.9. The 1,141.8 was mostly one fish. Whereas Floating Dragon climbs x1, x2, x3, x10 over its coins, this build applies the same three steps to its fish. In both games the step that decides a round is the first one, since the later steps need wilds the round rarely has time to find.
Ten lines, and fish that count for nothing until the feature
The base game runs ten fixed lines across a five-by-three board and pays from the first reel to the right. The fish is an ordinary symbol there, worth 2.00, 10.00 or 40.00 for three, four or five on a line at our stake. The sums printed on the fish mean nothing outside the feature, and the board shows them anyway. The strongest base-game spin in our log filled eleven cells with fish whose tags added up to 180.00, 90 bets. It paid 124.00, 62 bets, for three lines of five fish and two lines of three. The next best paid 100.00, and nothing else in the base game passed 72.00. Of 2,870 paid spins, 370 returned something, 12.89%, with the 27 that opened a round counted in. The base game alone paid on 343 spins, and 201 of those paid the stake or more, 7.00% of all spins. The median base-game payout was 2.00, the stake itself, and 142 of the 343 base wins came in under it.
Two scatters on a board can call one of two helpers for a third. One is a respin that drops the scatters a row and spins the other reels, the other is a hook that pulls a reel up. Sixty-three of our paid spins got a respin, 74 respins in all since one can follow another, and fifteen of the 27 rounds were opened that way. The hook opened three more, which leaves nine rounds whose three scatters landed on the paid spin itself. The longest run with nothing back lasted 43 spins, and a paying spin came every 7.8 spins on average. The balance peaked at 100,222.60 after 114 paid spins, when the second round was credited. From there it slid 1,526.80 to its low of 98,695.80, 763 bets, with 22 rounds credited inside the slide and none of them big enough to stop it. The base game gave back 1,707.00 of the 5,740.00 put down, 29.74%, with a 95% interval from 22.0% to 37.5%. Floating Dragon's base, the closest relative on our shelf, managed 26.82% on its own log. A base game that pays one spin in eight and the stake at the median is a waiting room, and this one has fish painted on the walls.
Three sessions, 6,266 paid spins
The SlotLab testing team keeps three Big Bass Bonanza 1000 ledgers, and the longest is this portal's, filed as Session ID BB1K-20260729-01. The sister pair came from the network's two single-game sites for Big Bass Bonanza 1000, both logged in June at the same 2.00 stake, with the ante off and nothing bought. Each ledger counts paid spins only, because the free spins carry no stake, and each takes its balance from the game's own settlement after every spin, so pooling them is addition. The three put down 12,532.00 together and took back 14,016.20 across 6,266 paid spins, 111.84%. Their 61 rounds make one per 103 on the pooled count, and the 95% band around that pooled clock spans one per 80 to one per 134; 22 of the 61 retriggered at least once. Thirty-eight of the 61 were opened by the scatter respin and three by the hook, so only twenty began with three scatters on the paid spin. The pool's best full round is the sister log's 1,141.8 bets, and its best base-game spin is this portal's 62.

| CasinoReview.click | 2,870 paid | 79.18% | 27, one per 106 | 217.2x, one retrigger | −1,195.00 |
| bigbassbonanzaplay.org | 1,758 paid | 149.16% | 12, one per 147 | 1,141.8x, two retriggers | +1,728.60 |
| bigbassbonanzagame.org | 1,638 paid | 129.02% | 22, one per 74 | 262.1x, two retriggers | +950.60 |
| Combined | 6,266 paid | 111.84% | 61, one per 103 | 1,141.8x, full round | +1,484.20 |
One definition runs through the table: paid spins at 2.00, with a full round taken as the wallet's gain at the moment the round was credited. The two sister pages carry the same spin counts, round counts and best rounds. Their headline figures, 149.2% and 129.1%, are given to one decimal from closing balances read a spin earlier, within two credits of the finals above. On the full ledgers they come to 149.16% and 129.02%. A round that a page lists from the counter before its last free spin appears here at its credited figure. The 155.4x round on bigbassbonanzaplay.org therefore stands as 203.4 in this reading. The Combined line is the three returns summed over the three stakes summed.

bigbassbonanzagame.org Mia Stone's log · June 2026
One log lost a fifth of its stakes, one won half of its stakes and one won a bit under a third, and three rounds account for the gap. Without the 1,141.8-bet round, the bigbassbonanzaplay.org ledger's remaining 1,757 spins came back at 84.26%. Without its two x3 rounds, the bigbassbonanzagame.org log came back at 97.15% on the rest. The hit frequencies of the three logs sit within two points of each other, at 12.89%, 14.85% and 14.29%. Their base games gave back 29.74%, 33.52% and 32.07% of their stakes. What separates the logs is the ladder's second rung and one fish, and a few thousand spins can price neither.

The return, printed four times over
The fourth page of the rules sets the theoretical return at 96.51% and repeats the figure for the ante bet, for a bought round and for a bought super round. The label above those lines has moved since the screens were first archived. Screens saved in May 2026 showed five lightning bolts beside a line about high volatility, and the public demo read on 8 October 2026 prints Medium volatility with a line about steady pay. The game's page at pragmaticplay.com carries the same 96.51%, and the studio's launch announcement of 24 April 2025 adds the 20,000x. Neither the build nor the page says what share of the 96.51% the feature carries, and neither prices a fish value or a retrigger. This portal's session came back at 79.18% of its paid stakes and the two sister logs at 149.16% and 129.02%, three afternoons that a game owes nothing to. Three results set no range for a fourth, and I would expect another log of this kind to land outside all three about as often as between them.
A printed figure still has to be the figure your casino runs. Pragmatic Play ships its games in more than one return configuration, and the operator picks one. The number that binds is the one on the rules page of the build in front of you. This demo printed 96.51%, a lobby copy may print a lower figure, and the collector, the ladder and the fish values will look the same on both.
Editor's note: reading the RTP numbers. The stated return for this title is printed in the game's own rules, 96.51% on the fourth of seven pages, in four modes, and the same figure sits on the studio's game page. Our tested figure is the pooled return of the logged demo sessions behind this review, so the two numbers answer different questions, and even a pooled sample of a few thousand spins is not the game's long-run maths. By money it is 14,016.20 returned over 12,532.00 staked on paid spins across three sessions, and this portal's session alone returned 79.18%. Live RTP is an operator choice: many games ship in several RTP configurations and the casino picks which one to run, so always check the RTP in the game's info screen before you bet real money. The ante bet and two buy buttons, priced on the screen
The left panel sells three shortcuts and prints every price, starting with an ante bet that raises the stake by half, 3.00 for our 2.00. The rules call it a bet multiplier of 15 against the usual 10, and it puts more scatters on the reels while switching the buy buttons off. The buy buttons work the other way round, with the ante off. For 100 bets, 200.00 at our stake, the feature opens with three scatters guaranteed. For 450 bets, 900.00, a super round opens in which the chance of a 1,000x fish is raised. Raised from what to what, the rules don't say, and that silence is the one line in this build I'd call salesmanship. The logs supply one baseline the rules omit, nine boards with that fish in 880 natural free spins and a wild beside it once. No round in the three logs was bought or anted for, 61 of 61 natural, and this book has no price for a bought round. A buy is a payment for impatience, and at the pooled clock of one round per 103 spins the cheaper button costs the stakes of 100 spins, close to one natural wait. The dearer one costs the stakes of 450, more than four such waits, for an extra chance the rules leave unquantified.
Floating Dragon, the same ladder with coins instead of fish
The closest relative on our shelf comes from the same studio, Floating Dragon: Year of the Snake, and the two are one engine in two costumes. Both run five reels of three on ten lines and open ten, fifteen or twenty free spins on three to five scatters. Both bring in a wild that collects every money symbol on the board, and both lift a multiplier on every fourth wild. Floating Dragon's trail reads x1, x2, x3, x10, its coins carry values to 2,500x, and its rules print the odds of its 5,000x maximum, one in 3,086,876 spins. Big Bass Bonanza 1000 prints the same three steps, caps a fish at 1,000x and a round at 20,000x, and prints no odds for either. Consistent with one engine, the two logs agree where the engine decides. Floating Dragon's log paid on 13.34% of its paid spins and this one on 12.89%. Its base gave back 26.82% of stakes against 29.74% here, and its median completed round was 37.3 bets against 31.
Where they part is the use of the ladder, and the pools say how far each got. Across 44 completed Floating Dragon rounds in three logs the third rung arrived once and the fourth never. Across 61 pooled rounds here the second badge lit five times and the third never. Its best round paid 238.7 bets at x2 and was made of coins, while the best here paid 1,141.8 and was made of one fish collected at x1. The scatter hunt is the same wait, one round per 114 spins pooled there and one per 103 here, with intervals that overlap. Floating Dragon holds a 6.7 on this portal for a legible collector, a dull base and a top rung that reads as decoration. It keeps one card this build does not hold, since it tells the player how often its maximum comes.
What the player sees
The build runs in landscape and draws a lake at sunset, with the reels hung in the water, the title above them and the fisherman kept back for the feature. The fish carry their sums on orange tags, and the 1,000x one is purple with the figure on its back. The board therefore advertises on every spin what the feature could collect. The collection itself is a short animation of the wild pulling each tag in. Inside the feature the bar above the reels fills from left to right, one fisherman per wild, with a badge in every fourth place. The bazooka and the hook are the two animations worth waiting for, and the Big Win banner rolls over anything past a few tens of bets. Turbo pace ran at 4.8 seconds per paid spin on average, rounds included, and the 2,870 spins took three hours and fifty minutes. The log carried no sound, so I have nothing to say about it. On the screen the game is cheerful and legible from across a room, and the only number a player needs to follow is the one on the bar.
What the ledger suggests
- The first badge decides a round, and nothing in the rules times it. Nine retriggered rounds paid 52.4 to 217.2 bets and eighteen without one paid 13.2 to 42.4, which the rules describe as every fourth wild and nothing more.
- The thousand is a value, not a rate, and the build never times it. A 1,000x fish showed on nine boards in 880 pooled free spins and met a wild on one, a value printed in the rules and timed nowhere.
- Most rounds need a helper to open. Forty-one of the 61 pooled rounds were opened by the scatter respin or the hook, and the rules put no rate on either.
- Read the 111.84% as one cold log and two warm ones, not as a verdict on the maths. The pool is arithmetic on three ledgers, and the rules say 96.51%. The log that lost a fifth of its stakes used the same public demo at the same 2.00 as the two that won.
- Demo credits carry the same age rule as money, 18+, and every number on this page came from a demo wallet.
The demo page, the rulebook and the sister logs
Our logs run on the studio's public demo because a demo wallet can be read back after each spin and printed, a point the methodology page explains. On our shelf the build plays inside the page, launched from the address our log used. The two dedicated Big Bass Bonanza 1000 sites of the network publish the other logs, each beside a playable build. bigbassbonanzaplay.org holds Alex Reeves's 1,758-spin session and its 1,141.8-bet round, and bigbassbonanzagame.org holds Mia Stone's 1,638-spin session with 22 rounds. The figures quoted from them here are their logs', checked against those pages when this review was written.
The bar fills in front of you on the Big Bass Bonanza 1000 demo page, where the provider's current public build runs inside the page. Every other build this portal has logged keeps a card of its own on the Demo Shelf.
The rules page for Big Bass Bonanza 1000 restates the paytable at 2.00, the eight fish values, the retrigger rule and both buy prices, each beside its screen.

The build prints 96.51% on page four of its rules and repeats it for the ante bet and for both buy buttons, and the same 96.51% sits on the studio's game page. The configuration a casino runs is up to the casino, so read the rules page of the copy in front of you. This portal's log finished at 79.18% over 2,870 paid spins, the three-log pool at 111.84%, and both are single afternoons, not a rate.
How are the free spins triggered, and how often did they come?
Three, four or five scatters anywhere open ten, fifteen or twenty free spins, and two scatters can call a respin or a hook that fetches a third. The feature arrived 27 times in our 2,870 paid spins, a round per 106, every time on three scatters. Eighteen of those rounds needed a helper for the third scatter, fifteen the respin and three the hook. The pool holds 61 rounds across 6,266 spins, one per 103, and no rules screen prints a rate.
What does the 1000 in the title mean?
It is the top value a money fish can carry, 1,000 times the total bet, from a printed list of 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x and 1,000x. The fish pay those sums only when a wild collects them in the free spins. In 880 pooled free spins across three logs a 1,000x fish showed on nine boards and was collected once, and the rules print no odds for it. The 20,000x the studio advertises is a cap on a whole round, printed in the rules as the point where the round ends.
How do the retriggers and the multipliers work?
Every fourth wild collected in a round adds ten free spins, played after the current batch, and those added spins collect at a higher multiplier. The steps are x2 after the first retrigger, x3 after the second and x10 after the third, which is also the last. Nine of our 27 rounds retriggered once and none twice, and across the pool five rounds reached x3 and none reached x10. The nine x2 rounds of our log paid from 52.4 to 217.2 bets, and the eighteen that stayed at x1 from 13.2 to 42.4.
Can you buy the free spins, and what do they cost?
Yes, in two sizes, and both prices are printed on the buttons. Free Spins cost 100 times the total bet, 200.00 at our 2.00, with three scatters guaranteed. Super Free Spins cost 450 times the bet, 900.00, with a raised chance of 1,000x fish that the rules do not put a figure on. An ante bet costing half a stake more raises the natural trigger chance instead and switches the buttons off. Every one of the 61 rounds in the three logs was opened by scatters in ordinary play.
Can I play Big Bass Bonanza 1000 for free?
Yes, and without an account or a deposit. The public Pragmatic Play build sits on our Demo Shelf on demo credits, with its seven rules pages behind the i button. A short session can end without a round, since the clock above describes an average and not a sitting. Demo credits carry the same 18+ rule as money.
My reading
Big Bass Bonanza 1000 is a collector that shows its work, under a title that sells one of its symbol values. I rate it 6.6, a tenth under Floating Dragon: Year of the Snake and Royal Joker at 6.7, and level in the tenths with Burning Wins though not in kind. Two deductions sit under that figure, and the base game comes first. It paid on one spin in eight and the stake at the median, with fish values printed on a board that cannot collect them. More life between features is my preference, named as one, and it is the same preference that holds Floating Dragon's score where it is. The headline comes second, and it is sold in three places. The title and the intro screen carry the thousand, the dearer buy button names the 1,000x fish, and the rules price it and never time it. The super button raises its chance by an amount the rules do not state. Everything else the build prints in full, the return four times, the cap as a rule that ends the round, both buy prices and the ante bet's. No deduction here is for something the log failed to see, because an absence is a count. No x10 in 61 rounds is one count, and one 1,000x fish collected in 880 free spins is another. Floating Dragon keeps a tenth on this build by printing the odds of its maximum where this one prints none. Burning Wins sits level only because it hides its return and has no feature to lose it on. Again, this is a score outside the sevens, the first from me in five reviews, and the reason sits in the two deductions rather than in the ledger. A 79.18% afternoon costs no points and a 149.16% one earns none. What I liked most was the bar filling fisherman by fisherman; what I liked least was a thousand painted on a fish whose odds the rules won't print.
