SlotLab
Slot reviews built on logged demo sessions, not press releases.
SlotLab is the slot-testing project behind CasinoReview.Click. It is founded, owned and edited by one person, Erik Lindholm, a former studio-side game mathematician, working with a small team of named testers who run their own sessions across the network's single-game review sites. Every number published here comes from a logged demo session, and every page names the person who tested it.
Who runs this site
I'm Erik Lindholm. I spent years as a game mathematician on the studio side, building the maths models and paytables that decide what a slot is supposed to return. Then I moved to the player's side of the glass, and SlotLab is the result: a place where the number on the box is checked against what real logged sessions actually return.
I own CasinoReview.Click and I'm responsible for what it publishes: the methodology, the final verdicts, and the mistakes. If you find an error on any page, it lands on my desk: the quickest route is the contact form. "Erik Lindholm" is a permanent editorial pseudonym; the notice on my author page explains why.
How the work is organised
SlotLab is a small testing team working to one method. It works like this:
- I write and edit this site. Reviews published on CasinoReview.Click under my name are my own sessions and my own verdicts.
- Two more testers run sessions under the pseudonyms Mia Stone and Alex Reeves. Their tests are published across our network of game-review sites, each under their own byline.
- When several of us have tested the same game, I compare the sessions side by side. Different testers, same method, and the spread between the samples is exactly the point. A single session proves nothing; several, side by side, start to show the pattern.
The testing team
Slot Tester · Hold & Win specialist
Tests Hold & Win mechanics and fixed-jackpot ladders for the SlotLab team. Her logged demo sessions are published across our game-review sites and feed SlotLab's multi-session comparisons.
Casino Analyst · software QA background
Treats every game as a system - variance, paytable maths and operator-side RTP, cross-checked against multiple sources. His tests are published across our game-review sites and feed SlotLab's multi-session comparisons.
All bylines on this site are permanent editorial pseudonyms of real team members - see the pseudonym notice on each author page. Different testers, one method.
Game sites in the network
SlotLab publishes its deepest reviews on dedicated sites - one game per site, with a playable demo, the full in-game rules and a spin-by-spin session log on the page. These are SlotLab sites: the connection is part of the method, not a secret. The sites whose sessions currently feed the comparisons on CasinoReview.Click:

Standards
- 1,000+ spins logged per review session (recent sessions run 1,600 to 3,000), in demo mode
- Every spec cross-checked against the provider and third-party databases
- Session data disclosed: spin count, balance checkpoints, bonus triggers
- All text written from hands-on play, never provider-supplied copy
- No paid reviews: nobody pays for a score or a logged number
Every review on this site follows the same method: read the full in-game rules first, run a pre-planned demo session, log the data, cross-check every figure, and publish nothing until the session is finished. When sources disagree, the provider's own page and the in-game rules win, and the review says which value was used.
Methodology and final calls are mine. (E.L.)
Independence
Nobody pays for a score or a logged number: scores come from testing, not partnerships.
Responsible gambling
A review is information for a decision, not encouragement to play. Slots carry a built-in house edge and are designed to lose money over time. Set a budget you can afford to lose, never chase losses, and stop when it stops being fun. 18+ (19+ in some regions). Support: BeGambleAware, GamCare.
Frequently asked questions
Who owns CasinoReview.Click?
The site is owned and run by Erik Lindholm, a former studio-side game mathematician. It is not owned by, or financially dependent on, any casino operator or game studio.
Are Erik Lindholm, Mia Stone and Alex Reeves real names?
They are permanent editorial pseudonyms of three real members of our testing team. We work in a professionally sensitive industry, so contributors do not publish their legal names. Each pseudonym is used consistently by the same person, and the sessions attributed to a byline are conducted by that person. See the pseudonym notice on each author page.
Who is responsible for errors on this site?
Erik Lindholm. Corrections are made directly on the page, and the "Updated" date is changed for substantive fixes.
Do casinos or providers pay for reviews?
No. Nobody pays for a score, and scores and session data are never for sale.
