Thunder Coins XXL: Multicoin - the Rules, Two Collectors and an Unpriced Multiplier

Verdict first - a 3x5 line game on fifteen fixed lines with two collectors on the middle reel and a bonus of sticky collectors fed by the outer reels. The multiplier is the only difference from the original, and the rules never price it. RTP not printed - 95.65% from databases. Max win not printed - the GRAND at 1,000x is the largest figure on any screen. Bet 0.20-100.00 in the copy on file. What follows is the build's own text, read off the archived rules screens of the public Playson demo we logged, at the 1.00 our session ran.

How a spin pays

Three reels, five rows, fifteen fixed lines. Symbols pay for three in a row, left to right, highest win per line only, all paying lines added. Nine regular symbols, a red 777 wild, bells, BAR, watermelon, grapes, plum, orange, lemon and cherries, plus three coin types that pay through the collectors rather than through lines. The wild substitutes for every line symbol and for none of the coins.

The archived rules screens print the paytable at a 1.00 total bet, the stake the portal session ran, so the table needs no scaling. In practice the log matches it line for line. Every one of the 1,673 spins with no coin or collector in the stops paid exactly what the table says. Three low fruit paid 1.00 on spin 18, three cherries 0.50 on spin 121, nine lines of one mid fruit 36.00 on spin 624.

Three of the nine line symbols pay back exactly the stake on a line, one pays half, five pay more. Fifteen lines mean a screen can pay several of them at once. The log's largest plain-line spin was 36.00, nine lines of the same mid fruit. The paytable sets the size of a win and says nothing about how often one lands. In the portal session 358 of 2,705 spins paid from the base game, 42 of those under the 1.00 staked. Compare the original Thunder Coins, five lines and a 50x wild line. No base-game payment in its portal log came in under the stake, and its reels paid on 9.93% of spins against 13.23% here.

The paytable screen at 1.00 - bells 10.00, BAR 8.00, the two mid fruits 4.00 and the three low fruits 1.00 for three on a line, with cherries at 0.50 on the next screen.

Two collectors on the middle reel

Coins land on reels 1 and 3 only, each with a value on its face. Two collectors land on reel 2 only. A Thunder Coin beside any coin collects the values of all coins on the screen, jackpot coins included, and adds them to the spin's win. A MULTICOIN does the same, then multiplies its value by a random figure - x2, x3, x5, x7, x10, x15 or x20 in the screen's list. Both fire in the main game as well as in the bonus. When coins land with no collector beside them, the rules allow a MULTICOIN to be added to reel 2 at random. Any coin landing may also trigger the Pile of Gold, which adds enough coins or collectors to open the bonus.

What the portal log shows of that is plain enough. A collector sat beside a coin on 54 main-game spins, 38 Thunder Coins and 16 MULTICOINS, and all 54 paid. The smallest paid 3.00, the largest 48.00, a MULTICOIN on four coins with a x5 drawn. Four of the fifteen bonus triggers had no collector in the reel stops and got one after the reels settled. Weights for the random figure, the random MULTICOIN and the Pile of Gold - unverified, nothing on the screens.

Thunder Coins XXL: Multicoin rules screen: the MULTICOIN multiplies its value by a random multiplier of x2, x3, x5, x7, x10, x15 or x20 after collecting all coins, may be added to reel 2 at random, and can retrigger multipliers in the bonus
The MULTICOIN screen - the seven multiplier values, the random addition to reel 2 in the main game, and the line about retriggering multipliers in the bonus. No odds for any of it.

The Bonus Game, respin by respin

Coins on reels 1 and 3 together with a Thunder Coin or a MULTICOIN open the Bonus Game. Only coins and collectors land during it. Collectors land on reel 2 only and stick. Each coin shows 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x or 8x the total bet. Three respins to start, and every new symbol resets the count to three. When the respins run out, the values of all Thunder Coins and MULTICOINS on the board are added to the total win. In the bonus the MULTICOIN has a chance to retrigger additional random multipliers, in the screen's words, with no count and no odds attached.

The portal log ran fifteen rounds. Respins per round 8-17, outer-reel coins gathered into the collectors before every close, at most four collectors stacked on reel 2. Eight rounds drew no multiplier and paid 13.00-52.00. Three drew a x2 and paid 85.00-102.00, three reached x3 and paid 80.00-150.00, one reached x5 and paid 67.00. That last figure is the useful one. The multiplier works on the MULTICOIN's own holding at the moment of the draw, not on the round's total. The sister logs at thundercoinsxxlcasino.com and thundercoinsxxlslots.com sit on the same curve, two x7 rounds at 54.00 and 61.00 and a best round of 181.00 on a x5.

Jackpots, the buy and the extra bets

Four jackpot tiers hang above the reels and reprice with the bet. GRAND 1,000x, MAJOR 100x, MINOR 30x, MINI 15x. The screen says a jackpot coin that appears during the Thunder or MULTICOIN feature triggers the corresponding jackpot. In the portal log a MINI coin appears on the frames of round 1, which paid 150.00. A MINOR coin sits on the board at the close of round 12, which paid 67.00 with no 30.00 in the wallet credit. Whether a coin that lands after the last collection counts for nothing - unverified, and open below.

Buy Bonus Game, three prices. A Bonus Game with one or more collectors at 75x the total bet. A Super Bonus Game with one Thunder Coin and one MULTICOIN guaranteed at 175x. A MULTICOIN Bonus Game with two MULTICOINS guaranteed at 250x. After any purchase there is a chance of extra collectors landing, in the screen's words. Two extra bets. Double Chance at 1.5x the bet doubles the chance of the bonus. Thundercoin Spin at 5x the bet guarantees a collector on the spin and triples the chance. At 1.00 that reads 1.50 and 5.00 per spin, and 75.00, 175.00 and 250.00 per purchase. The portal session ran with both extra bets off and bought nothing.

What the screens print, and what they don't

Forty-nine screens in the copy on file. They print the paytable, the two collectors, the bonus rule, the coin values, the four tiers, three buy prices, two extra bet prices and fifteen line patterns. They close with the malfunction clause. They print no RTP, no volatility label and no maximum win. The 95.65% in the review comes from third-party databases, which also carry a 94.65% configuration. Which one a casino runs is invisible from outside. The largest figure printed anywhere in the build is the GRAND at 1,000x. One database lists a 7,426x maximum for the game - unverified, and not on any screen.

What the build paid is what gets published. 90.92% on the portal's 2,705 paid spins, 90.98% on the three-ledger pool, both in the review, neither a long-run figure. The 7.0 verdict in the review grades the machine, not the run.

Quick answers

Does the MULTICOIN multiply the whole round?

No. It multiplies the coin values it holds when the figure is drawn. The portal log's x5 round paid 67.00 and its best x3 round paid 150.00.

Can a coin land on the middle reel?

Not in the rules. Coins land on reels 1 and 3, the two collectors on reel 2 only, in the main game and the bonus alike.

What does a full board pay?

Nothing separate, and there is no full-board ending in the rules. The bonus ends when the respins run out. The most collectors stacked on reel 2 at a close was four in the portal log and five in a sister log.

Is there a cap printed for a win?

No. The GRAND at 1,000x the bet is the largest figure on any screen, and the multiplier list stops at x20.

Do the extra bets change the paytable?

Not on paper. They change the price of a spin and, in the screen's words, the chance of the bonus. Double at 1.5x, triple with a guaranteed collector at 5x.

Known limits of this page

Known limits of this page: the rules screens on file are a 1.00-stake copy, and the bet menu of that copy runs 0.20-100.00. No return figure, no volatility label and no maximum on any screen, so those three come from databases and are marked as such in the review. Weights for the seven multiplier values, the random MULTICOIN and the Pile of Gold - not printed. Whether a jackpot coin landing after a round's last collection pays its tier - unverified, one frame in the portal log says it did not. Bought rounds and the extra bets - not sampled, all three logs ran natural triggers at a flat stake.
