Royal Joker: Hold and Win - the Rules, Restated

Verdict first: the same 3x3 hold-and-win skeleton the shelf already knows, with two twists bolted into the bonus - a Joker that upgrades cells and a collector that hoards the board. The 54 info screens of the build we logged are restated below at the 1.00 stake, where cash equals multiplier. The demo runs right here. The twists read better on a live board than in any paragraph.

Same build we logged. Virtual balance. 18+.

The bonus engine, twist by twist

Three Bonus coins on one spin start the Bonus Game. Coins print values from a fixed list, x1, x2, x5, x10 or x15 the bet. The round runs on the standard clock: three re-spins, every new symbol resets them to three, the round ends when the counter dies.

Twist one is the Joker. Inside the bonus it stops being a Wild. A Joker landing in a cell leaves a x2 multiplier there and vanishes; another Joker in the same cell raises the multiplier by one each time. A coin that later lands in a multiplied cell is multiplied by it, and the cell keeps its value to the end of the round. Twist two is the Royal Bonus coin, which lands on reel 2 only and sticks. On arrival it adds every value in sight to its own, jackpot coins included. At the end of the round the totals of all Royal Bonus coins join the payout.

Four jackpot coins can appear during the round, Mini at 25x, Minor at 50x, Major at 150x, Grand at 1,000x. They pay as board symbols, and the collector treats them as ordinary loot. The Pile of Gold feature rounds the set out. Any Bonus or Royal Bonus coin in the main game can trip it and add enough symbols to activate the Bonus Game, sometimes with a x2 already waiting on a cell.

Lines and paytable

Outside the bonus this is a plain five-line game. The 3x3 board pays left to right across its five fixed line patterns, and only the highest win per line counts. Stakes run from 0.20 to 100.00 in 19 steps.

In the main game the Joker substitutes everything except Bonus and Royal Bonus. The paytable is identical, row for row, to Thunder Coins: Hold and Win on this same shelf - one skeleton, two coats of paint, and the differences all live inside the bonus.

The build at a glance

No RTP line exists anywhere in the 54 screens. The figure aggregators quote is 95.62%, from their sheets rather than the game. Two ceilings circulate - the intro screen sells wins up to 20,000x while the provider's marketing sheet says 21,150x. Neither number appears in the rules and neither came within a mile of our log, where the best complete round paid 664x. No buy menu, no ante. I log what the build pays and publish that instead: 92.98% across 6,165 pooled spins, tables in the review.

Quick answers

How does the Royal Joker bonus start?

Three Bonus coins on one spin. The Pile of Gold feature can also fire from any Bonus or Royal Bonus coin in the main game and add enough symbols to reach the trigger on the spot.

What does the Joker do inside the bonus?

It stops substituting and starts upgrading. A Joker leaves a x2 multiplier in its cell and disappears. Repeat Jokers raise that cell by one each time, and any coin landing there later is multiplied. The cells hold their values to the end of the round.

Can I buy the bonus in Royal Joker?

No. This build sells no feature entry and runs no ante mode - the reels are the only route. Stakes from 0.20 to 100.00 are the only lever the interface offers.

Is the free demo the same game as the paid version?

Same rules screens, same paytable, virtual balance. The demo on this page is the build our sessions logged. Free play still means 18+, and the full session record sits behind the review.

Known limits of this page:
  • Rules restated, not quoted - exact wording lives on the info screens inside the demo.
  • Paytable and jackpot values scale with stake and are shown here at the 1.00 reference.
  • The 20,000x and 21,150x ceilings are marketing figures. We publish both and vouch for neither.
  • Coin-value odds and Pile of Gold frequency - unpriced by the provider, unverified by us.
  • No malfunction clause and no build version appear on these screens - unusual, and noted as an absence.

Session RJHW-20260729-01 - 2,776 spins of the 6,165-spin pool at a flat 1.00, July 2026, checkpoint discipline throughout. The session tables, screenshots and the score live in the Royal Joker: Hold and Win review. The launch build is on the demo shelf, and the protocol is on the methodology page. What this page did not verify - collector odds and the cell-multiplier distribution. Both go on the list for the next build. 18+ applies to every mode of this game.
