Sweet Rush Bonanza by Pragmatic Play: Doubling Multiplier Spots, Tested Over 5,400 Spins

Game: Sweet Rush Bonanza Provider: Pragmatic Play Tested: July 2026 Tested by: Erik Lindholm Data: 3 sessions / 5,425 spins logged Last updated: September 17, 2026 at 6:05 PM
Quick verdict
  • Who it suits: players who want tumble drama at a small flat stake and can sit through four-digit gaps between features without changing anything.
  • Core mechanic: scatter pays on a 6x5 grid, plus cells that double from x2 up to x128 each time repeat explosions land on them. In the base game the marks die with the spin; in Free Spins the whole marked board holds.
  • Key risk: the top is not where the label says. My log went 1,927 spins between features, and no complete bonus round in the 5,425-spin pool beat one ordinary base spin.
  • Score: 7.4/10. Transparent maths with a real base-game tail, priced in patience.

Sweet Rush Bonanza is built on the idea of repetition in one square of the board. The 6x5 grid has no paylines, since eight or more of the same symbol anywhere pay and the winners explode. A cell where explosions repeat starts to double, from x2 up to x128, and the whole question of the game is how long those marks survive. The stated RTP is 96.50%, and across three logged demo sessions (n = 5,425 spins) the samples returned 93.6%, 90.0% and 99.63%. All three finished red, and the largest single payout of the whole pool was not a bonus at all. One ordinary base spin of mine chained to 341.4x, a figure no Free Spins round in any log came near, and that inversion is the story of this review.

Sweet Rush Bonanza by Pragmatic Play: a 341.4x base-game tumble chain with WIN $682.80 on the meter and a 12-symbol match at x22
Spin 2,102 of my session, the moment this review is about: a 12-symbol purple candy match across cells worth x22 combined, $30.00 x 22 = $660.00 on the final tumble and $682.80 for the spin. The credit meter still shows $98,987.30, one collect away from the payout.

Three limits before any conclusions

First, eleven bonus rounds across a pooled 5,425 spins hint at how often the feature arrives, and they cannot settle the average. Second, the pool's feature gaps ran from a few dozen spins to 1,927, so no average I quote below deserves the word typical. Third, an observed return at this sample size describes the sample, not the machine that produced it. All three of ours landing under 100% is exactly as uninformative as three landing over it would have been. Every claim on this page should be read inside those three fences.

The maths of a doubling cell

The signature mechanic is called Multiplier Spots, and the rules define it with unusual precision. When a winning symbol explodes, it leaves a mark on its cell. From the second explosion on the same cell the cell gains x2, and every further hit doubles it, to a cap of x128. The multiplier applies to any win that lands on the cell, and when one match covers several marked cells their values add together. In the base game all marks clear when the tumbles stop, which is the entire volatility profile of this slot in one sentence. In Free Spins the marks hold for the whole round and keep growing, and that persistence is what the feature actually sells.

My 341.4x spin shows the arithmetic better than the rulebook manages to. The chain opened at 1.50 in credits and crawled through small steps to 22.80. Then one 12-symbol match of the purple candy landed across marked cells whose values summed to x22. The paytable line for that match is 30.00; the payout was 660.00 on a spin that cost 2.00, and nothing about it involved Free Spins. Seen from my studio years, a base game that carries this much of the tail is a deliberate design choice, and a rare one.

The bet logic runs on units, and the sheet only makes sense once you see them. A normal spin is 20 units, ANTE BET is 60, SUPER SPIN 1 is 400 and SUPER SPIN 2 is 5000. The listed maximum bet in the rules follows from that table directly. The buy menu prices standard Free Spins at 100x and Super Free Spins at 500x, with the Super version pre-loading x2 on all 30 cells. ANTE BET lowers the trigger requirement from four scatters to three at triple the spin price. SUPER SPIN 1 seeds random starting multipliers, and SUPER SPIN 2 opens every position at x32. One line in the rules stands out: every one of those modes, buys included, lists the same 96.50% RTP. Buy menus in this industry usually carry a worse figure, and this sheet doesn't.

The cap arrives with an eviction clause that is worth knowing in advance. If a Free Spins round reaches 5,000x, the game pays the cap, ends the round and forfeits whatever spins remain, so you get dismissed from the bonus for excessive success.

Thirty positions, no lines, one loose condition

Six reels and five rows make thirty positions, and the total count of one symbol anywhere on screen decides the win. Seven of a kind is worth nothing at all; eight of a kind is money. The paytable reads top-down like the shelf of a well-organised candy shop. The red heart pays 100.00 in credits for 12 or more at my flat 2.00 stake, and the purple candy pays 30.00 for the same count. The fruit is filler, since 8 or 9 bananas return a quarter of the stake. Then the ground gives way, since every win clears its symbols, whatever stands above falls down, new symbols drop from the top, and the count runs again. My session logged 1,208 of those collapses in 2,626 paid spins, which is about one tumble chain for every second spin. The balance updates once, after the last tumble, and the win meter sometimes sits still before adding a number you have to read twice.

Free Spins trigger on four or more scatter lollipops anywhere, for 10 spins, with 10 more for any four-scatter hit during the round. Retriggers exist in the rules, none of my six rounds produced one, and all six ran exactly 10 spins. Every round in the pool triggered naturally at the flat stake, which doesn't surprise me at these prices.

The log: 5,425 spins across three sessions

I logged the 2,626-spin run myself over one long July night at a flat 2.00 in demo credits, recorded as session SRB-20260730-01, on the demo default balance of 100,000. Alex Reeves and Mia Stone had each put the game through its paces in June for the network's dedicated Sweet Rush Bonanza sites, at the same stake and method. Their pages are quoted as published on the live pages, and the three samples below come from one distribution and nothing else.

One sourcing footnote belongs directly under that table. The casino site publishes its complete rounds rather than single-spin peaks, so its single-spin cell reads accordingly, and the combined 94.63% is plain arithmetic on the pool's stakes and returns. Three red endings from three sessions of a 96.50% game is unremarkable at these counts; a pool that matched the sheet to the decimal would have been the stranger outcome.

My own run held exactly one act of early generosity in its whole length. The first bonus hit before the session was fifty spins deep into its second hundred, and its collect pushed the balance to the session peak. What followed was the pool's longest feature silence at 1,927 spins, or 3,854.00 in credits of turnover between features at my stake. The balance bled slowly to its session low around three quarters of the way through. The second bonus finally landed, and about fifty spins later came the 341.4x chain that decided the session. Then the cluster: rounds three to six arrived inside 59 spins, one pair of them four spins apart. On paper, the pool triggered its feature once per 493 spins on average. In the sample, the arrivals looked nothing like that number, which is the point of printing both. A distribution makes no promises to any single evening, and this log is what that sentence looks like drawn out.

Three win figures deserve their exact labels, and the table above keeps them apart. The best single spin of the pool is my 341.4x base-game chain, the same figure the Max Win card above lists as tested. The best complete bonus round of the pool is 150.05x, logged on sweetrushslot.com. The same site's log holds a 1.45x round from an identical trigger, the widest bonus spread anywhere in the pool. My own best complete round is 96.6x, which sits between those two and closer to the large one. Keep those three labels straight and the game stops looking contradictory at all.

Editor's note: reading the RTP numbers. Stated RTP for this title is published openly by Pragmatic Play on its game page: a long-run average taken over millions of spins. Our tested figure is the pooled return of the logged demo sessions behind this review, so the two numbers answer different questions, and even a pooled sample of a few thousand spins is not the game's long-run maths. Live RTP is an operator choice: many games ship in several RTP configurations and the casino picks which one to run, so always check the RTP in the game's info screen before you bet real money. More in our guide to stated vs observed RTP.

Sweet Rush Bonanza base game mid-chain: marked cells at x6 and x2 with WIN $22.80 before the final tumble
The same spin 2,102, five seconds earlier: the chain at $22.80, marked cells at $2.00 X6 and $0.80 X2 on the grid. The next tumble turned this board into $682.80.
Sweet Rush Bonanza free spins trigger: four scatter lollipops with the counter at 10 spins and WIN $4.00
The trigger of my best round, spin 2,308: lollipops across the grid, the counter at 10, and $4.00 already banked by the trigger spin. Credit $99,458.80 at that moment.
Sweet Rush Bonanza last free spin of the first bonus: a 10-banana match at combined x74 with the round counter at $175.50
The last free spin of my first bonus, spin 123 of the session: a 10-banana match, paytable value $1.00, across cells worth x74 combined for $74.00 on one hit. The round counter shows $175.50, and $78.00 of that belongs to the trigger spin.
Sweet Rush Bonanza bonus round last spin: round counter at $137.60 with one free spin left
The last spin of my third-best round: the counter at $137.60, of which $4.00 was banked by the trigger spin and $133.60 (66.8x) by the round itself. Credit still shows $99,458.80, since the collect lands after.
Sweet Rush Bonanza session low point: credit meter at 98,937.60 dollars in the base game
The quiet part of the review: $98,937.60 on the meter near spin 2,040. The log's true low is $98,935.60, one bet later. No bonus in sight for 1,927 spins.
Sweet Rush Bonanza session end: credit meter at 99,665.90 dollars before the last spin
Session end: $99,665.90 on the meter, one bet before the last spin settled the final log entry at $99,663.90. Net for the night: 336.10 credits down.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • One RTP for everything, since the in-game rules list 96.50% for normal play, all three special bet modes and both buys
  • The base game carries a real tail, and my 341.4x chain needed no bonus round at all
  • Frequent contact, with hit frequencies of 26.35% to 28% across the pool and the longest no-win runs at 18 to 22 spins
  • Multiplier Spots compound quickly once Free Spins hold them, and every one of my six rounds pushed a cell to x8 or beyond
  • ANTE BET drops the trigger requirement to three scatters at triple the spin price, a cheaper road into the feature than the 100x buy

Cons

  • Top-heavy by design, since Free Spins supplied only 16.2% of my session's total winnings
  • No complete bonus round in 5,425 pooled spins beat 150.05x, so the 5,000x cap stayed pure theory
  • Feature silences run long, including my 1,927-spin gap and a 930-plus opening wait in the pool's shortest run
  • All three logged sessions closed red, at 336.10, 234.30 and 11.90 credits down
  • The buys are priced like furniture, at 100x and 500x the stake for the two versions

Interesting Facts

  • Four of my six bonus rounds arrived inside 59 spins of one another, after a stretch of 1,927 spins with none. Feature distribution promises nothing.
  • Two of those rounds triggered four spins apart, at odds the rules never promise twice in a row.
  • The round counter banks the trigger spin too: my first bonus closed at 175.50 in credits on screen, of which 78.00 was the trigger spin's own tumble chain.
  • The board collapsed 1,208 times across my 2,626 paid spins, which is about one tumble chain for every second spin.
  • The bet logic runs on units of 20 for a normal spin, 60 for ANTE BET, 400 for SUPER SPIN 1 and 5000 for SUPER SPIN 2, and the listed maximum bet follows from that table.
  • The 5,000x cap comes with an eviction clause: if a Free Spins round reaches it, the game pays, ends the round and forfeits the remaining spins.
  • The design merges two Pragmatic Play lines, the scatter-pays economy of Sweet Bonanza and the doubling cells of Sugar Rush, and the name says it out loud.

Strategies and Tips

The tips below do not move a 96.50% game by a single decimal, and they don't try. They are sums taken from the log, laid out the way I would want them before the first spin.

  • Budget for the silence, not the average. Across the pool the feature averaged one hit per 493 spins, and my own log held a 1,927-spin gap. If a four-digit spin gap at your stake breaks the bankroll, the compounding engine never gets its turn.
  • Hold one stake, and hold it low. All 5,425 spins in the log ran at the same flat 2.00. A 26.35% hit frequency keeps the erosion slow and readable, and raising the stake mid-silence only raises the slope.
  • Read cell peaks as a hint, not a verdict. In my log the three x32 rounds paid 66.8x, 85.75x and 96.6x, and the two x16 rounds paid 56.7x and 57.7x. The order held, yet the weakest x32 round beat the best x16 one by only nine bets. The engine is additive, so a middle multiplier under a 12-symbol match beats a giant multiplier under an 8-symbol one.
  • Price the buys against logged rounds, not against hope. My six natural rounds averaged 66.28x, which is two thirds of the 100x ticket. The pool's best round covered the standard buy one and a half times and appeared once in 5,425 spins. The 500x Super buy purchases the pre-marked x2 board, a different product entirely.
  • Watch a demo session first. The doubling logic explains itself in twenty spins on screen better than any rules page, and the demo doesn't charge for the lesson. 18+ applies to the free version too.

Demo Game

Sweet Rush Bonanza runs a free demo in the provider's client, with a virtual balance, the same rules sheet and the same maths. Not one of the 5,425 spins in this log cost real money, and that was the point: my own cash in the game leans on the numbers I am supposed to record. Losses turn into arguments, wins turn into theories, and a log has room for neither.

Both dedicated Sweet Rush Bonanza sites in the network carry a closer look at the game. Each page holds a playable demo, the rules and buy menu up close, and its own session notes. Read Alex Reeves at Sweet Rush Casino or Mia Stone at Sweet Rush Slot. One evening tells you what happened, several evenings start telling you what to expect.

The doubling cells can be watched at no cost on the Sweet Rush Bonanza demo page, on the build my log came from. The full Demo Shelf sits behind it with every other build we have run.

A restated copy of every rule in this build waits on the Sweet Rush Bonanza rules page. The tumbling family it belongs to is charted on our cascade slots page, where its 493-spin trigger clock sits beside five faster ones.

Sweet Rush Bonanza FAQ

What is the RTP of Sweet Rush Bonanza?

The in-game rules state 96.50%, and the same figure covers ANTE BET, both SUPER SPIN modes and both bonus buys, which is rarer than it should be. Our three logged demo sessions observed 93.6%, 90.0% and 99.63%. Three separate evenings, none of them the long-run rate. Casinos can run a different configuration of the same game, so check the info screen where you play.

What is the max win in Sweet Rush Bonanza?

The cap sits at 5,000x the bet, and the rules are blunt about it. If a Free Spins round reaches 5,000x, the win is awarded, the round ends immediately and all remaining spins are forfeited. For scale, the best complete round across our 5,425 logged spins paid 150.05x, and the best single spin, a base-game tumble chain, paid 341.4x.

How do the Multiplier Spots work?

When a winning symbol explodes, it leaves a mark on its cell. From the second explosion on the same cell the cell gains x2, and every further hit doubles it, up to x128. Multipliers inside one winning match add together, which is how a 12-symbol match over cells worth x22 combined produced our 660.00-credit hit. In the base game the marks clear when the tumbles end; during Free Spins they hold for the entire round.

How do you trigger free spins in Sweet Rush Bonanza?

Land four or more scatter lollipops anywhere on the screen for 10 free spins, and four or more during the round add 10 more. My session triggered six rounds in 2,626 spins, about one per 438, and the pooled rate across all three sessions worked out at one per 493. ANTE BET, at triple the spin price, lowers the requirement to three scatters.

Can you buy the bonus in Sweet Rush Bonanza?

Yes, two ways: standard Free Spins at 100x the bet or Super Free Spins at 500x, which start with x2 multipliers on all 30 cells. The rules list the same 96.50% RTP for both versions, and that's unusual. Every number in this review still comes from rounds that arrived at their natural odds.

Is there a demo version of Sweet Rush Bonanza?

Yes, the provider hosts a free demo with virtual credits, and every number in this review comes from it. 18+ only: all three logged sessions here ended red, the pool's best round stopped at 150.05x, and none of that predicts your evening. Play with money you can afford to lose, or with none at all.

My reading

Sweet Rush Bonanza is transparent maths wearing a candy skin, and I mean that as praise. One RTP covers every mode, the cap prints its eviction clause in plain sight, and the base game genuinely carries the tail. The sheet and the log agree with each other here, which isn't a sentence I get to write often. I rate it 7.4/10, and the missing marks are all about patience. The build prints no feature rate, and eleven rounds in 5,425 spins put the trigger anywhere from one spin in 275 to one in 1,000 at 95% confidence. Either end of that range is a slow clock, which is as much as a count of eleven can say. The bonus also under-delivered in every session we logged, an observation I report and do not charge. Play it small, flat and unhurried, or pick a different game altogether. The paired test in the network is my Forge of Wealth log. There the multipliers wait on four fixed cells and the game hands you the geometry, while here the cells are wherever your wins repeat. The two logs read like different sports played with the same arithmetic.

Corrections and updates

  • Aug 6, 2026: Win metric labels clarified. The observed Max Win figure now carries the largest win recorded across all three logged sessions: the 341.4x base-game spin. 66.8x remains the best complete bonus round of the CasinoReview.click session, 150.05x the best complete round of the pool, and each keeps that exact label in the text, the summary card and the structured data. The session data itself did not change.
  • Aug 12, 2026: The observed Max Win label now reads "tested, best single spin (all sessions)" per the site-wide metric convention; the 341.4x value is unchanged and remains our own session's best single spin, which is also the pool's largest win of any kind.
  • Aug 12, 2026: The RTP Tested figure now carries the pooled return of all three logged sessions, 94.63% over 5,425 spins, per the site-wide metric convention. Session-level returns keep their exact values in the table, and our own session's 93.6% carries its exact name in the structured data. No session data changed.
  • Sep 17, 2026. The closing section now reads eleven logged rounds as a range, one trigger per 275 to 1,000 spins at 95% confidence, and names the unprinted feature rate as the basis of the deduction. The bonus results of the three sessions stay on the page as an observation. The score is unchanged, in line with How we score.
  • Sep 17, 2026. Round figures rebuilt from the balance. Two of my six round payouts came from a working total that stopped before the last free spin had paid. Rebuilt from the amounts credited to the balance, rounds 1 and 5 paid 85.75x and 96.6x, where the working total had 48.75x and 46.6x. My best complete round is therefore 96.6x and not 66.8x, the six rounds averaged 66.28x and not 51.78x, and Free Spins supplied 16.2% of the session's winnings and not 12.6%. One tip compared x16 and x32 rounds on the old figures and now reads the corrected ones. The return, the 341.4x base-game spin and the score are unchanged, and the full register now sits in the session report.

If a figure here does not match the session log, report it through the contact form together with Session ID SRB-20260730-01, and verified corrections will be logged on this page.
